California here we come, right back where we started from...

Here are some photos from our much needed little California Trip. It was beautiful, green, MOIST, and full of spring flowers. Matt had some work so we tagged along and spent our days in the pool, at the beach and eating yummy food. We also took Liv bowling for the first time which was SO fun. Unfortunately no bowling pics.
We got to spend some time with Papa Al which was so nice for the girls. (And they came home with a new Kitty and Piggy too. Thanks Papa. )
Counting the days until we get to go back.
And... Abigail Grace is WALKING. It was nice having a baby who could walk most of the time and who could climb off of hotel beds without falling on her head. Every time we turn around she has found something else to get in to. Always on the go, go, go.
Hope this post finds you all well. And gives Grandparents a nice fill of photos. :)

Abby was on the move the whole time we were in L.A. They have nice cushy astroturf next to the Pool so we were able to let her toddle to her hearts content.

Abs was so proud of herself that she could sit on this little step all by her self.

So Livi has turned into a little Fish. Not one swimming lesson under her belt and she loves being underwater. She doesn't want to wear her life jacket anymore because she wants to go dive to the bottom to fetch toys and finds her goggles too foggy and in her way so she even opens her eyes underwater. I literally couldn't get her out of the pool. Amazing for a kid who was so afraid of water for so long. Oh how things change so quickly. These are pictures of her and Emo Bug looking at eachother underwater.

Abby spent alot of time in the pool too.
Abby loved her little "wetsuit" swimwear...

...she insists on checking herself out in the mirror when I put anything new on her. Already a true girl. We better invest in more mirrors.
Livi in her "L.A." outfit. Nana got this cute giraffe print outfit for Liv and she just loved it. She looked like a little movie star. :)
When in L.A. we always stop by our old street Nagle Ave. It's in my opinion the most beautiful neighborhood in the Valley. We always walk down our street and take a peek at the little house we first brought Olivia home to.
We happened to spot a little four legged friend walking down the sidewalk and Livi lured him with her little charm. She is a girl who loves cats.

Abs taking a stroll down Nagle with Daddy.

Resting in the room watching a movie with Buggy.
My beautiful little bright eyes in Santa Monica. This was before we hit the beach...
...this was after. :) She ate so much sand that day. Every time I would tell her not to eat it she would pick up another handful and shove it in. Mom said it was good minerals. :) This pic makes me laugh because she looks like a messy little, chubby mermaid.

Mischevious little Monster.

This is one of the only pictures of Livi I have from the beach. I was busy looking after Abby and Livi was constantly in the ocean until this shot. She needed a warm up. The water was freezing.
Thank goodness for the mini van. Perfect for a sandy cleanup.
And, alas the final picture. We stopped at Ben and Jerry's in Venice to cool off with some ice cream. Never a good idea to give a starving 4 year old chocolate ice cream in the car, but boy was she happy.
